Privacy policy
Last updated 6 October 2026. This policy covers the Wildlife of Everywhere website (wildlifeofeverywhere.com) and its Android app.
Browsing
You can read every guide without an account or sign-up. We record basic, anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, searches, the type of device and a random session ID) to see which content is useful. We don't use advertising, and we don't sell or share this data.
Sharing photos and trip reports
If you use the contribute form, we collect what you submit: your name, email address, photos (including those taken with your phone camera), any text, links and the species, place and date you give. The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo in the form, and photos are uploaded only when you submit.
We use this to review your contribution, to contact you about it, and, if it is approved, to publish it with the credit you chose. Your email address is never published. You keep the copyright in your photos.
Storage and sharing
Data is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider. We don't sell it. Submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them; anonymous usage statistics are summarised after 180 days.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete what you sent us, or to have a published photo removed, email michaelgordon151187@gmail.com and we'll act on it within 30 days. The app does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above.
